Night_Over_Water-Readme

Once again, due to the efforts of Hartwig Rohrbeck DC3-1061, the Dixie Clipper at KBMA actually flies the Trans-Atlantic route of the PanAm Clipper to Southampton, UK and returns to KBMA. This route was inspired by the book "Night Over Water" by Ken Follett in which he creates an adventure story of a fictional flight from Southampton,UK to Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada. The route approximates the great circle route flown by PanAm until 1939 from Southampton with stops at Foynes, Ireland; Botwood, Newfoundland, Canada; Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada; and Port Washington, NY, USA. We have extended the flight to make KBMA both the origin and destination of the original PanAm route. This is not a big stretch of reality as PanAm originated their Trans-Atlantic route to Lisbon from KBMA. Included with this package is a Word file which Hartwig put together containing an expanded timetable and showing the relationship to the original timetable which is reproduced.

Installation:
The "KBMS" update included with this release must be installed prior to the installation of "Night Over Water". This set of files will not work without KBMS.

The installation of "Night Over Water" will alter the destinations of the previously installed Boeing314AI aircraft. The Dixie Clipper will now fly the KBMA-Southampton route instead of going to its original KBMS-defined destination.

There are Scenery, Texture, and Traffic folders and files included for each of the locations mentioned above. The traffic files modify the KBMS AI routes as well as add the KBMA-Southampton route.

Installation:
Copy the files in the Scenery folder to your Baltimore Municipal Airport\Scenery folder-allow overwrites.
Copy the files in the Texture folder to your Baltimore Municipal Airport\Textures folder.
Copy the files in the Traffic folder to the FS9\Scenery\World\Scenery folder or to the FS9\Addon Scenery\Scenery folder depending on where you copied the original KBMS Traffic files - allow overwrites.

Restart your computer to update the scenery files.

Enjoy.
